Shaft Seals
SIEGEL Dichtungen develops and supplies shaft seals, i.e. radial shaft seals, for rotating shafts in mechanical and plant engineering, drive technology, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics, as well as in electrical appliances and wind turbines. The sealing lip seals radially against the shaft and reliably protects bearings and components against oil and grease leakage and the ingress of dust, dirt and splash water.

Shaft seals, also known as radial shaft seals, play a decisive role in protecting bearings, gearboxes and other rotating components against the ingress of dirt, dust, oil and other contaminants. They are the ideal seal between shaft and housing or component, frequently used in mechanical engineering and apparatus construction, but also in hydraulics and pneumatic applications.
