Overview
How does punching work?
Punching is one of the most widely used manufacturing techniques in the rubber and plastics industry. In this process, the sheet material is brought into the required shape by a punching die to produce specific parts to your specifications and drawings.
The advantages of punching include high production speeds and cost-efficient manufacture of large quantities, for example using multi-cavity tools.
For drinking water applications we punch flat seals and sealing rings from sheet material listed under the KTW-BWGL, for example EPDM. Which approvals apply to your application is explained under drinking water.

Tolerances & applications
Precise punched parts for many industries
Punching makes it possible to produce complex and varied parts and shapes individually in small and large quantities. By using various punching machines and tools designed accordingly, we ensure the customary tolerances according to DIN ISO 2768-1 or DIN ISO 7715 Part 5 and process different materials efficiently and with minimal waste.
Whether for the electrical industry, the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, gearbox manufacturing, the broad spectrum of the pneumatics and hydraulics industry or the consumer goods sector: punching is a fast and cost-effective way to produce flat seals of all kinds.
