V-Rings
SIEGEL Dichtungen develops and produces V-rings, i.e. axial shaft seals, for mechanical and plant engineering, drive and gear technology, electric motors, bearing points and other applications. V-rings sit on the shaft, rotate with it and seal axially with an elastomer lip against a stationary counterface, ideal as a barrier against dirt, dust and splash water, as a wiper and as a grease retainer.

Axial sealing on rotating shafts
V-rings are axial shaft seals and important components for sealing rotating shafts in various industrial applications. They rotate with the shaft and, with their sealing lip, prevent the ingress of water, dirt, dust and other contaminants, mostly in mechanical engineering and in drive and gear technology.
As axial seals, V-rings operate without pressure or at very low differential pressures, protecting primary sealing systems and bearings against environmental influences. We keep many common sizes and designs in stock and produce special variants to your specifications and requirements.
