What are rubber edge protection profiles?
Edge protection profiles made of elastomers (rubber) are flexible, continuously extruded profiles that are fitted onto the sharp edges of sheet metal, glass panes, furniture, and plastic or metal housings. They protect against scratches and chipped edges and seal your products. Depending on the application and geometry, they also provide vibration damping or insulating functions.
Our rubber edge protection profiles are manufactured by extrusion. This produces continuous profile strands which, depending on your requirements, are cut to size and supplied in bundles or on reels.
