Overview

EPDM blue in use

SIEGEL is increasingly developing EPDM seals in the characteristic blue for drinking water applications and for the food and beverage industry. The formulation test has been completed successfully, and further certification tests are currently under way. The material was developed according to the current positive list of the German Environment Agency (UBA); the compound is KTW-BWGL compliant and already meets the positive list of the upcoming EU Drinking Water Directive (EU DWD, 2020/2184).
